Default Conditions/Forecast for Elk & Sixes Rivers?

Does anyone know what the conditions are like on the Elk & Sixes Rivers in Southern Oregon are like, and what the weather forecast is for the area.

My Brother and I are planning to come down this Friday-Sunday, but would just as soon not waste our time driving from Portland if the rivers are expected to be high, muddy, or flooding. Unfortunately, our last two trips to this area have been canceled do to flooding and the year previous to that we got one day on the river and then it flooded.

Any help would be appreciated. If you would prefer you can e-mail me at: orfish@hotbot.com

Thanks,

We are actually forecasted to get some really good rain in the next seven days... enough to blow the rivers out? that may be the big question... Call the Elk river hatchery at 541-332-7025 orthe Sixes river store at 541-332-6666 they will be able to give you up to date weather and water conditions.
