Default Wilson Tidewater

Stopped at Tillamook Bait at noon today and was greeted by Marie's warm smile. Had a nice chat with her and picked up some of her fresh sand shrimp. She asked me if I have tried her sand shrimp scent, and I said I never leave home without it (had some from previous fishing trips). I bought one of her lucky camo TBC hats and she told my son and I good luck and we headed out the door. We went to the lower Wilson and started lobing bobbers loaded with eggs and sandshrimp and "The Scent". We had a total of five bobber downs and got only one to stick, he was a chrome 25# buck. There were fish rolling all afternoon as well. I think my luck started with Marie's warm smile........Bobber Down

Why do you have to put Shrimp scent on fresh Sand Shrimp? I can understand it with high muddy water.

It enhances the NATURAL SCENT of Sand Shrimp.

More shrimp scent is dispersed into the water covering a larger area more rapily,
thus attracting more fish, QUICKER, to your lure or bait.

Often times its being at the right place at the right time.

Some people are using it on their eggs.

Some people are using it on yarn.

ect ect ect.

Use it where you like.

Have fun!

And remember "FISH" have to be there in the first place.

Thanks,
MW/DW

Marie,
Me and my fishing buddies are coming over to fish the Tillamook area on Thursday-Saturday. Where are you located so I can stop by and buy some shrimp and some scent? How early do you open? Thanks.
