Default Flat Camo Paint

I have some duck blinds to "spruce up". and was wondering if other than Cabela's there was a source of flat camo color spray paints locally.
I think I got some from Andy and Bax's last time but the choice was limited.
Any ideas?

Bi-Mart always has some Camo paint hidden away. Last time I found it on a shelf above the solvents (Acetone, paint thinner, that area). I'm sure someone at the store can help track it down.

Tilla,

If you can live with a brush...

One of the BEST paints for Wood, Metal, or Plastic is a Petit Boat Paint, Flat "Dead Marsh Grass" as a base, then Krylon or Rustoleum in spray cans of Matte Black or Brown.

I had the original coat on my aluminum boats (over Zinc Chromate Primer) for 15 years before I had to do a touch up.

That stuff's a tough, durable oil base paint and sticks like glue!

I think Fisherman's has the best price on it...if not there then try West Marine.

------------------------------------------------------------

This might not be the most "Pro" camo job you've ever seen, but it's worked just fine for me.

In the flooded trees the boat virtually disappears...

Originally, I had 4 colors (Dead Marsh Green/Black/2 Shades of Brown), but last time I retouched I just went with DMG/Black.

Since I have different colored camo nets, the paint's only "hiding" the lower 40% of the entire blind setup.

That's the stuff my Uncle uses, he just rolls it on w/ a foam roller and then rattle can stencil work for the grass pattern.

Chris"cwh", if you following this thread this is is how I'd do your sled. Just sand the paint and roll it on...no primer. the old paint already on the boat is the primer.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I'm thinking about army olive green for my boat so I can give it a name like "USS Duck Killer", but dead marsh grass might be a better choice
