We have a cabin reserved in Ucluelet this August. At this point I don't know if we'll be fishing Clayoquot or Barkley Sound, but will probably be sticking to more "inside" fishing for silvers, rockfish and lings.

I'll be looking forward to a report!

"Big bank" or La Peruse has been good, lots of spots there, follow small 6 pack charters, you should do well IF weather cooperates. Pls post results and any news you hear about Tofino to N, outerlimits and I are fishing there soon

Ditto to Tomictime. I've been out of Ukee half dozen times. I've noticed the water on the inside areas can be significantly more sloppy than the open water. If it's a bit ugly inside, travel a further out and see if it's better. Going to Ukee for 3 days in August, can't wait to hear how fishn is for you.

I've been up there the last 3 years with Oak Bay Marine Group and 25-50 PSA buddies. That place is beautiful and I would love to take my boat up there sometime. Good luck, be safe, have fun.
