Heck-It would be nice to get out and chase ANYTHING. Coho season is going to last a long time at this rate.

I would imagine all this N wind will have turned that warm water over...still looks pretty warm at the 46050 buoy, what about the SSTs? The free terrafin looks perty good, even if it is really broken up.

Somebody flip the wind machine back off. We wanna go fishin!

It will sharpen the edges by rolling over the surface heated water. And it will stop eventually. Time to jig bait, catch shad and polish the cannonball.

We will fish and it will be good.

Ya! This is starting to shape up similar to last year, with 15c/59f water up to Vancouver Is., altho the main 15/16c Tuna water is still off N. Cal...soon They should connect. As long as the N. wind dosn't blow too hard for too long.

Does it strike anyone funny that the same Agency brings us the weather and sea forecast? Talk about ability to get it all wrong. Isn't another part of that same agengy in charge of estimating fish stocks! CONSPIRACY!

FWIW, Some boats have been getting out early and getting a few salmon (both types) before it kicks up. Bar was unrestricted this morning with only a small breeze. It started to pick up to around 10k by 10am and it is 20k at my house now.

Bernie, it isn't me.... My boat still needs TLC...
It is due to someone buying a boat that can fish more challenging conditions... Who could that be? Oh yea, the Catman.....

Beware these weather patterns. Sneaking out on a day with an increasing trend or forcast will eventually catch up with you and the price can be very high.
Be safe out there... better times and awsome fishing are just around the corner...
