Please, don't go to their web site! Attention of any kind is what they want. They are like the trouble makers on boards, if you don't pay attention to them, they'll go away.. WON'T THEY????
Anyway, I don't want to give them my click, that is for sure.

Big W,

Yes I can believe it, we have been following this crap for a couple of years now. The main goal of the bunny huggers is to "BAN" all consumptive sports. They have tried to harrass bass tournemnts and controled hunts. This is very serious stuff that all fishers and hunters better pay close attention too. Just because you don't hunt, the fisher folks had better get involved when they go after the hunters, because they are after all of us. They will get us one group at a time, untill we look around and say what the heck has happened.

I didn't realize what a radical organization this is. Of course I've heard of them, and know what their agenda is, but that web site goes alot deeper than I ever imagined. Yes, they are a scary bunch that all of us need to be aware of. They are behind every anti this and anti that ballot measure across the country, including Measure 18 back in 94 and 97 this year, which failed miserably.

Im surprised that the PETA web site is not a favorite of RT, his Shinia Twang was a featured star on their site (at least she was a few weeks ago). They also have the letuce girls? I check in with them every so often just to spy on them.

Fav site cureless? I thought peta was some kind of pocket bread. ... Geez, say it isn't so about my Shania! Oh well, I still love her anyway; I like my women dumb. ... jk, ok. ... PETA is a shortsighted organization based on misguided emotion, no common sense. They don't seem to realize for every animal they save from an instant bullet death they cause 2 animals to suffer a slow starvation death due to herd over population. If they were able to succeed in curtailing fishing deaths, which is unlikely, they would prevent the birth of millions of fish because of hatchery closures and less effort to protect stream habitat. To put it accurately, they are idiots that need to get a life! - RT

The Humane Society was also involved in banning the use of bait and dogs for bear and cougar hunting. I think they are getting out of focus on there real objective. I quit donating to them till they straighten out. I don't mind helping out the doggies and kitties, but I don't want my money going to a political campaign to ban hunting and fishing.

If you are from Oregon you will have noticed on your ballot this year the measure to ban trapping. I was very disapointed to find this backed and encouraged by the "Humane Society". Those people do a great job at giving pets a home but I was disappointed that they jumped on the wagon with the anti-fur radicals.

Fortunately the state of Oregon still had enough sense to say "NO" to this measure. For those who can remember this was attempted before in 1984. We have to fight all of this or it will eventually end up that you can't even catch-n-release chubs on the Willamette. Keep your eyes on these guys - even the Humane Society which seems to be so easy going needs a check and balance.
