Blanks on Elk, Goat, Sheep and Antelope - again.
I drew 119A Deer - Second Choice
615 Deer - First Choice - always good for freezer meat.

I did not draw a wenaha, I drew my second choice elk tag. I am still building for wenaha, but I am getting closer!

149 buck deer in old camp where the late Bill Meyer and I hunted last year! Catharsis at the very least, but best of all that means my son, son-in-law and grandson (his first at 12 years old) also drew...
I don't even mind not getting my doe or bighorn tag this year...

Drew Beulah Deer and my second choice for elk, that I'll probably eat because I bow hunt but we'll see how the out of state tags line up. Still waiting on New Mexico, Arizona, then if they don't pan out Idaho elk here I come.

Drew 623A with no points.
Did not draw Wenaha Elk Bow with 8 points.
Did not draw SE Metolius Deer Bow with 6 points, and didn't get 123M1 as my second choice, which kind of surprised me.
NO sheep and NO goat, which REALLY surprised me!

Elk - 224A Lake Cr Antlerless With zero points :whazzup: We drew Sitkum last year and filled our freezers, didn't think I'd see another cow tag for 4-5 years. What's really cool is that my partner's 13 year old boy just completed his hunter safety and will be putting in for his first time hunt with us. It's going to be really cool to see him plug his first Elk, I can't wait
