Otter Crest in Depoe Bay, and be sure to eat at Tidal Raves

Im not sure what you want to spend but if you can afford it I would recomend the Channel House in Depoe Bay. Private hot tubs on the deck over hanging the entrance to the bay. You can get discounts staying Sunday thru Thursday in the winter months.

Try Neskowin Resorts just north of Lincoln City.

Otter Crest is nice and has it's own beach front area that is private. I miss the old days when they use to run the VW vanagons up and down the throughways. Van Cliburn, Van Morrison, Van Winkle. All were fun rides in tight corders.

Tidal Raves is an excellent resturant. Ate there Saturday night and have to say I was impressed with the quality of the food. Make reservations if possible or show up at 5-5:30 if you want to eat. Every seat was filled.

My vote would be the carking station at Depoe, it always seems to get me in the mood

Course my wife on the other hand She tends to like rooms with hot tubs and ocean views.

Absolutely!

Wife and I stay here for special occassions...it is a bit spendy and they are usually booked pretty far out, but you can occassionaly get a room on short notice.

I highly recommend them.

Their website is just their name with a dot com after it. Channel House.

Can't help much with the place to stay. I go for the basic room, however, I echo the Tidal Raves for food...
If you're looking for a little less fancy resturant, but like a good slice of Prime Rib.
Pier 101 in Lincoln city. Only served Fri, or Sat night.
Be hungry, it's hugh..

My old boss once paid for a stay at the Ester Lee Motel for the family. They have some rooms overlooking the ocean, not the standard motel layout, kitchen, fridge, etc. I was quite impressed. If the wife and I ever could get away from the six kids, I think that's where I would take her. Had we not had all the kids with us, it would have been quite romantic. We had four at the time, though.

ESTER LEE MOTEL - 3803 SW Hwy 101 Lincoln City, OR 97367 541-996-3606 or 888-996-3606

The Ester Lee is pretty old, isn't it?

I used to love that place, because I could take my dogs.

I vote Channel House. Never stayed there, but it looks awesome!

Let me vote for your wife, alright? She wants the Channel House!
