Default Depoe bay Launching

Coho season is here, and everyone wants to fish.

I point no fingers and make judgement of no one.

Last year I saw 2 vessels launched on the pavement half way down the hill. Keep your saftey chains on until you have your boat in the water.

Parking is usually a pain so if you do accidentally hit a mirror or scrape a bumber please be courteous and leave a note.

Anything you can do to help the flow of boats launching is greatly appreciated.

Check in with Coasties, anounce departure from depoe on VHF 80 and 16. 1 Blast of horn thru the hole.
Tight lines and be safe.

Twice now I have announced intention to come in and was met by a boat with no radio! Not fun. Of course the old sailors addage took control of the situation: "Gross tonnage out weighs right of way every time." The smaller boat got the heck out of my way. I really can not fault them because I went to sea in my little boat for years without a radio either. I just now realize how stupid it was!
