Sea lice, have they really stopped fishing out there except for a handfull of fishers? I've gotten word from GT that there is large groups of fresh 'nooks still outside the bay in the now closed T-bubble (some kind of survey was done about a week and a half ago). With so much feed and no rain many are just hanging and dining. Of course a lot of the more mature urgent fish have gone up into the low rivers anyway. But there are more fish to come. Reports were of a good bite outbreak thru the lower T-Bay last weekend, then fresh fish going up Wilson and Trask tidewater early in the week (I personally witnessed mint bright fish at the end of my friend and my lines Wed.). It is not over out in the bay, and the river season will peak late with the onset of some rain. When that will be is the big Q !?!

RT, I was surprised only 2 boats were fishing the area, there were 6-7 rigs in the lot when I launched at around 10:00AM, so there were a few guys up higher in the tidewater. I heard about the good bite in the Ghost Hole last weekend, of course, this was the only weekend I have not fished this fall... I am very much looking forward to the Wilson rising 2.5-3ft, I have the driftboat ready.

When we were out on the old Coast Guard dock crabbing Sunday morning we saw at least six nice size fish swimming around that part of the bay. Couldn't get one to bite though. We tried various things and couldnt get a strike. Maybe they were worried about the seals that were swimming out there too.
