I think it is fun when folks tell you about personal records, biggest fish etc. Sure, its a chance to brag a bit, but it's also a chance for all of us to get some relative idea of what is actually out there, size wise. I am just as excited to hear about your adventure as to tell about mine.It is the allure of fishing and hunting to think
you've got a shot at the monster...you know its out there somewhere. I shoot magnum rifles, hunting for giant ivory tipped Rosey bulls..and grin from ear to ear if I harvest a spike. And in my family, we always fish the HOG tide...tickeled to death to throw a couple coho jacks in the cooler.
