Default It's a TOAD!! (pics)

Ever have one of those weekends? My total fish count for two days = five. My big fish...

Seeing Wreckless score this TOAD made the trip perfect:

Nice, real nice. Now how big was it again?
We stopped on the way back and the only thing we got was chewed up by the skeeters! Ok I guess Roger caught one dink. 15 min and we were out of there!! Man those buggers were vicious.

Hey Mike! They shouldn't have been hungry after they chewed on us. I kept telling Dennis that I want to catch more fish than the number of bites I had

Huntn'fishn - I made a donation to those skeeters too!!! They were MEAN!!!
Sorry we missed you guys.

The Bass was 4.8 or 4lbs. 13oz. my second biggest Smallmouth. She had a sore tail that was pretty much healed, I'm guessing she spawned a while ago. She ate that Bill Norman deepdiving crank on a long cast. My lovely wife Keeper made fun of that "big ugly lure", but that lure has been a good one in dirty water on a sunny day

There were quite a few boats fishing but not as many as when the tournaments are going. I remember when a "glitter boat" used to be a rare sight, I wish Salmon fishing would rebound!!!!

It was a great weekend with almost NO WIND. We should have caught more fish, but it was fun anyway!!!
In Keepers defense, she outfished me BOTH days on our last trip!!!

Don't be sad, Keeper. If we all had to pick one of those two pictures to hang in our offices or homes, I guarantee we'd go for the hot chick with the small fish everytime- sorry Dennis, that fish would have to be over seven to win this one. BTW: nice job on that great smallmouth. That prooved to be a tough place for a trophy hunter but you pulled it off. Dave

Yep, the Columbia below The Dalles. Definitely not a secret spot since they have had two Bass tournaments in four weeks!
