Default Willie drift boat

Does the 16x54 Willies wide bottom come stock with floor boards and a foot rest for the rower like the Alumawelds have? I know Willies has a special for $3995.00 and I just was curious if it was basically a skeleten. I know you can always add features. Alumawelds drift boats come with floorboards and foot rests for the rower. I have seen the Alumawelds, but I have not actually seen the 16x54 wide bottom that is on special. If someone has seen what they offer in it stock I would love to hear about it.

Thanks,
Shannon

Since there isn't a reply yet I will give you an opinion that I'm pretty sure the floorboards and footrest are standard on all Willie driftboats; in fact likely all driftboats. Call the factory near Medford or a dealer to price options for you. - RT

Shannon, the boat you are talking about does come with a 'middle' floor board and a foot rest. If you want the raised floor boards for the front and back for fly fishing those are extra. The $3995 16x54 is a basic driftboat that you can fish with no problem. Head down to South River Marine in Corvalis and look at a Willie, and all the options you can get. The one I highly recommend is the dry storage, you just can't have enough. Also once you look at the fit and finish of a Willie driftboat you won't even think about an Alumaweld.

I agree with the above post. Bought the
Willie driftboad special from South River. It is basically ready to fish. Deal with
them a bit on any extra's you want.

New boat for less than some want for beat
up used ones. Reason I just bought a new
one. Willie Asaltor and driftboat owner.

Hi Shannon. I also bought the 16' Willie from
Southriver Marine in Corvallis, about 4 weeks ago. It comes with floorboards, rowers foot rest, oars, anchor, trailer, 2 seats + the rowers seat. You will need life vests, rods and thats about it to get going. A couple of accessories that I would consider musts are "coat it" ($125.00 installed) and gunwale guard ($110.00 installed). The "coat it" will allow the boat to slide over rocks easier and the gunwale guard will protect rods from being damaged on the uni-rail. Southriver Marine offers 15% off these prices if you purchase your boat there. Ask for Dave Traaen (800) 952-5330. You will love this boat.
