Hey all, i want to thank all those who have signed up to join us this sat for the project. We do have a few people that have written me and said they would not be able to make it. Soooooooooooo..........
If you are going to make it FOR SURE, please post your name under this thread. That will help both Jennie and I tremendously. Thanks.
PS If you didn't sign up and would like to, go ahead and post your name here, and we will see you in the morning!

Re: Carcass event this Sat
I got your email luvtofish, thanks. That Civil War really cut our numbers, I have received quite a few emails recently about cancellations. We really appreciate those who show up, and those who will be there in spirit. :P LOL, couldn't resist. See you guys in the morning. Z

Re: Carcass event this Sat
Sounds to me like we'll have the perfect numbers. We don't need too many for this event, if all of you show up who say they are, this will be grrrreat!
Hey, my kids had to back out, as their Dad invited them to a big whoop tee doo in the Dalles. When I asked them if they wanted to sling dead fish or go to the Dalles. uh... I lost.
ZaQ put alot of work into this thing. I want to take a moment to thank him for following up with the contacts.
The slant on the article for Sundays paper is what we will give up, i.e. the civil war game.... to help out the fish.
Please, if you are driving from Portland, leave yourself extra time. It could be icy. Dress warmly, it's going to be one of those 'ice on the lines' kind of steelhead days...
I, for one, am going to go home from this event feeling good about myself!
Jen

Re: Carcass event this Sat
I'm excited about this now! I'm going to go bring along a fish rag for all the yuckies that come my way.
Cotton gloves, rain bibs, knee boots.... some of you may wish to have hip boots in case the fish need to be positioned somewhere. My legs can't take wading much anymore.. wah! I tried to wade across the kilchis the other day and my legs buckled.. YIKES!
Anyway, Lets go slingers, lets go!
Then on to the game!

Game, what game?
If I am in Tillamook I will be fishing. Be a participant in life not a spectator. And I am a Beaver.
