Default Cowlitz Bank Maggott Report

hey_yall's report on the Cowlitz is accurate.
Still chrome fish comming through. Fished it Tuesday night and all day wednesday. Guy next to me caught a chromed out Winter Steelhead. On Tuesday evening. We all though it was a King because of the size. 15#

Silvers are still comming in. Saw a mix of dark and silver fish caught on Wednesday.

I went home with a bright hen and a darker buck. Caught both on different Vibraxes.

Latched into a decent size fish close to the bank that immediately headed out to big water. Must of been snagged by the tail, could not control it at all. Did not want to give up until I was sure he was foul. Took me 20 yards in and then 40 yards down river up to my chest. I looked down at my spool and only had one wrap left. Cupped my spool with my right hand and held on.....fish off.

Cowlitz bank below the dam is still worth it if you can get the spot right next to the boundary. I got there at 4:00am and two guys there already.

If the winters are showing up already, then I know of 2 places this maggot is gonna crawl into. Sure as heck ain't up there in traffic. Gonna put on the hiking boots.
