Well the Salmon season wasnt to good this year does anybody have any idea how the steelhead season will be? I sure hope its better than the salmon season.
Dept. predictions are for a very good region wide steelhead season . Improved ocean survival rates will improve both numbers and sizes. Could break your record size fish this year!
Well I don't think 10lbs will be too hard to beat, but considering I didn't catch a winter steelie last year, then 0lbs is the number to beat in my book.

You live a rock through from the Wilson. Don't give up on Chinook as of yet. Your best fishing will be just around the corner. Swing it both ways and slap on a size 2 hook and a pea size corky and you can't go wrong. The hook is small for Chinook, but I have nailed a handful on down sized gear. I learned their not liter shy so I squeeze either 15 or 20lb test on.
