Had a great time fishing with R.T. and Chris today.
Never laughed so hard in my life!
You should see R.T. and Chris shoot hoops!
The fishing was so red hot (not) we spent most of the time around my kitchen table telling fishing stories.
Drowned our 'low and clear water' sorrows in a bit of spirits.
Yes, I have a headache now, and sure didn't get any work done today... But I had a great time!

We only caught and released a bright chum and large cutt after driftboating our way down over shallow riffles in 29 degree weather this morning, so we got the heck out of 'icicle dodge'. I remember reading in Jen's column about her raising cut little yellow chicks she loves. So what does she serve up for lunch? Yup, marinated chicken legs and wings. They were good! We had a lot of fun in Margaritaville today; thanks Jen. .... Then after an afternoon 8' high tide Chris and I got into some fresh new 'nooks not far from the Shilo the last couple hours of daylight. We each hooked 2 on wrapped K-14's, each getting one on and right off and then Chris landed a bright buck and I had a long fight with a mint bright mid 20's hen that ran my line around a root wad and broke my line and my heart. They both mend fast though . Nice day. - RT
