However, I can now say I did catch a blackmouth before I die. We boated 4 shakers and I contributed 50% of that number. 16 and 18 inches long so back in the water they went, well except for one. Right when I released him a seagull swept down and grabbed him. I used the hoochie and hotspot flasher rig, bucktail and flasher, but the ticket was the coyote spoon (#188) and the hotspot flasher. They definitely had lockjaw as we didn't see any of the hundreds of boaters land a legal fish. We fished Possession Bar. Well of course all of the fish were at Point No Point as that's where all the tourney place holders fished. Coyote and Flasher, just like y'all told me. I even tried mooching to unlock the jaw, but it didn't work. Oh well, anyways guys, I wanted to say thanks to all of y'all that helped me out in my blackmouth post from last week. I did catch my first chum on Friday too.
