Default An old (1970s) kids game

Back in the 70's I had a game that I can't remember the name of. It was a molded plastic board with islands, mountains, and interconnecting water ways. Each player had a fleet of ships(plastic) and a cannon that was fixed on your side. You would move your ship, aligning it perfectly in order to prevent your opponent from taking it out with their cannon. I seem to remember that the point was to knock all the opposing ships out or make it to the opponents home port.

Anybody ever seen this game? Know the name? We spent hours and hours playing with it.

Thanks,

BrianH.

Acid?

I'm just kidding.... No, I don't remember it. Was it electric at all?

And What would our dear Jennie know about acid? Or did you come by your knowledge like most people I know - from the subscription to High Times Magazine, which you got strictly for research purposes in college

Wow, tougher than it sounds, I found THIS and THIS but neither sounds exactly like your descriptions.
Lots of retro board game sites out there though.
