Yo Dogs,
A week ago Thursday after coming in from Halibut fishing I noticed a "click-click-click" sound coming from the 275 Merc Verado hanging on the back of WIDE LOAD . After some diagnoses it was decided that there was something seriously wrong!! I called Staff Jennings in Eugene and they advised me to "bring her in". I hauled her to Eugene and they were waiting for me when I got there. All the mechanics jumped in as soon as the trailer stopped moving! . To make a long story short it was found to be a broken gear in the lower unit . Marl the manager at Staff told me "Mercury will take care of it". . Mercury sent a brand new lower unit and it was installed and running exactly a week after she rolled into the shop!!! That was including the long holiday weekend!
So This elongated post is a great big "GOOD ON YOU GUYS" at Staff Jennings in Eugene and also Mercury back East. Thanks Guys!! Fish ON!! MM
Nothing worse than a motor in the shop just as the fishing heats up!
I've been there!
