Default Cabela's

I heard a from a friend at work who was told by a pretty reliable source that Cabela's bought land by Home Depot on Airport Way. Anyone else heard anything?

I heard more rumors about Cabelas coming to Oregon than I can stand! Who are these "reliable sources"?

(Frankly I hope they stay out of Oregon! Right now, with the price of gas, it's all I can do to pay that bill. Can you imagine how broke I'd be if Cabelas was in my backyard!!) Lol!

It has been in the news papers up here. All that needs to be done now is for Lacy to agree to the tax cuts. If that happens it will go in at Hawks prairie just north of the Lacy, Olympia area. It would open sometime in the summer of 2008. Not sure what I think of the idea yet.

It is not the tax cuts that Lacey needs to work on. It is securing funding for the road improvements. Besides free land (30 acres) Cabela's also want road improvements.

If this happens then Sportsmen's Warehouse is supposed to open in the same developement.

Who knows?

The improvements are because of where they want to build. It's across the freeway where Hurters used to be. Tax cuts are a big part of it however, so said the paper. Sportsmen, warehouse is opening this summer on the other side by Cosco, that part is a done deal.
