Default Where to go for camera repair?

Last summer my wife's digital Canon G3 camera took a ride on the back of the car. It is banged up a bit, and has trouble focusing. I'm looking for recomendations for a good shop to take it for repair.

It was a $600.00 camera when I bought it so I'm hoping I can get it fixed without spending too much.

Thanks,

BrianH.

Camera World in downtown Portland did a great job for me at what I thought was a reasonable price.
They also sent my Nicon binoculars in for repair. When I went to pick them up they said no charge because they had not quoted me a repair price ahead of time. Good deal.

I've used Associated Camera Repair in the past. They're at 3401 N.E. Sandy Blvd. 503-232-5625

They repaired a Nikon film camera for me.

Good luck!

You might consider dealing direct with the manufacturer . . . here's a link to their repair page for your camera: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro...mp;modelid=8056 Don
