Pastor, Husband, Grandfather, Friend - Memorial Link
I caught my first Pacific Northwest fish in the Puget Sound (and about 50 more) with this man, Pastor Gary Prisk in the 70's. I was a young teenager. My dad was his Manager in the Central Service Dept. at St. Jude Hospital, in Fullerton, CA while in Bible College. My dad was influenced to go to Bible college because of Pastor Gary's influence. We moved to the great Northwest because of Pastor Gary's influence. I am here today in the Northwest because of this man.
But, fishing for souls was his passion. He left all and went to Coupeville, WA and started a church as a home missions. The church is thriving today. Many people today are on their way to heaven because of Pastor Gary's answer to the call of God to go to Whidbey Island.
Ironically, after a fishing trip in Canada on Memorial Day, God called him home.
Please pray for his wife, Cheryl and kids and grand kids.
His sons, Jason and Nathan are pretty famous, you might have heard them in the
Daybreak Quartet. Funny, I used to ride bikes with these guys.
Pastor Prisk was only 59, and will be sorely missed.
