Default Tuff Coat?

After this fall/winter fishing season is over, it will be time for me to redo the old glove-it on my drift boat. I have heard of people using tuff coat.Does this work? Anything better? worse?

I personally use Coat-it, and most guys will probably agree its the slickest stuff around. This year I have noticed a lot of guides on the peninsula rivers going to the spray on Armour Coat. So far everyone I have talked to about Armour Coat really likes it on the bottom of the boat. The main comment I hear is its just as slick and very quiet. Plus it has a lifetime warranty. For a guide that re-coats his boat 2-3 times a year at $80 bucks a shot it quickly pays for itself. The cost of Armour coat is about $300 if you strip the bottom of the boat yourself.

Coat-It is great stuff for a 1958 wooden runabout, I can tell you that. It has enough body to fill in the gaps, but liquid enough to flow well into those gaps. You do have to sand off the gloss in order to paint over it.

Great stuff, it's holding my boat together. It's older than me, and doesn't leak a drop!
