Default I can\'t take it anymore!! (election day counts)

ARGGGGGGGGG.... this is my first year voting, and boy is it nervewracking. I don't think this could be any closer. This is more exciting than watching sports .

So... lets start taking bets on who will win.
I bet gore wins it with electorial, but i think bush will have more popular.

What do y'all think?

You are right Evan. What a projection rollercoaster this afternoon! Of course only the electoral votes count for electing our President. I think it was Richard Nixon that had the most overall votes, but President Kennedy won by a narrow eletoral count anyway? As it stands right now it still looks as if it will go down to the wire; to be decided late by the west coast states for a change. If Gore wins California's 54 electoral votes he will be in good position. However, if Bush picks up a few more smaller mid-western states this thing could come down to Oregon and Washington; how about that! If it does, and your man wins, and you campaigned for that man, you will have something to feel good about. At least for awhile; about as long as you and the general economy do well under the next leadership. Good luck. - RT
