Deschutes: Which Gauge?

I've been watching the discharge gauge near Madras and it seems to be holding right near 5500 CFS. Is there another gauge anyone watches that's lower in the river?

Moody - 7800 cfs - most of the difference is probably from White River.

And Trout creek.

I use the Moody gauge if fishing below White River, and Madras if fishing above. I think that's a pretty common practice.

Agreed.
Madras: for trout fishing the upper half of the Lower Deschutes.

Moody: for steelhead fishing the lower half of the Lower Deschutes.
