Default Open seats, newport Sun for Salmon

Sunday two seats are available for salmon, great forecast!
Friday and Sat. seats are filled.

Plenty of room in the cabin on Sat. night, so far just two of us for Sat. night.

Silverfish will be going out Fri, Sat. and Sunday. Fri and Sat will be for halibut and then salmon. Sunday we'll fish for salmon and/or bottomfish as the weather dictates. Not sure if we'll drop crab pots this time, probably a few. Probably no prawn traps this time, not doing that again until i have a better idea of where to drop them!!

I have a place to stay for Fri and Sat nights, reasonable cost, 4 beds. Preference will be given to those that want to fish multiple days and stay at the cabin and share costs.

pm me if interested. I'll answer questions and maybe ask a few of my own.

Ron M,

I am interested in joining you on Saturday, if you don't mind helping out a rookie.

I don't have much experience, and I get seasick standing on the beach. I have caught one trout before in a pond (pay to catch), that was fun, but it tired me out something awful. And I hated touching those worm thingies. Yuk.

I have some boating experience in a rubber blow up canoe, and worked the paddle good enough to go in cirles, until it tipped over.

But I can bring stuff. I have a trout rod and some power bait. My girlfriend can make up some popcorn for lunch.

Can I bring my dog? It only really barks all the time because she's such a good dog.

You can call my mom and she'll tell you how good of a person I am. I'll go tell her to wait by the phone, OK?

Well, I've probably talked your ear off by now, so I'm just gonna go have some bubble gum and licorice, and hope that my bicycle is working good enough to make it to wherever we're maybe gonna fish off of. Do you have a boat, or will we fish at the beach?

Well anyways, give me a call if you want me to go, OK? OK??

Hey, BD, helping out a rookie is always fun!

I'm glad you're an experienced paddler, be sure to bring your paddle, gas is getting to expensive to use the motors on my boat so we'll have you paddle out to the ranch. Don't worry, the tide will be going out when we leave.

When you ride to the coast, watch for a nice vine maple, cut it with the hatchet that'll be int he toolbox you'll be bringing, the vine maple will work good as afishing pole. Be sure to bring about 10 feet of string and a safety pin too. I'll show you how to make a hook out of the safety pin.

If you still have the trout you caught, bring it for bait, I'll show you how to hold it just below the top of the water to catch whatever swims by.

If you have a trouble with your bike on the way over, flag down a friend of mine that'll be driving by in a green dodge truck, he has pretty good mechanical skills, so maybe he could figure out how to fix your bike. All he'll want in payment is a piece of your bubblegum and maybe a chance to ride your bike.

Oh, I called your mom, she wasn't sure she'll give you permission to go. She says you're not too good riding your bike more than a mile from home and you have to be back before dark!

BTW, it's the popcorn that got you the seat on the boat!
