Default Duckworth boats

Why is it you see so many alumawelds as well as other brands of boats for sale, but very seldom do you ever see many duckworths??????
The last duckworth I saw on Stevens marine webpage was back in Aug 03.
Are there just not that many out there or do people hang on to them?????

you may get more responses putting this question on the main fishing page.

Since this is the buy, sell, trade page you may not get alot of answers here.

And I have no idea.

There are lots of them on the water. When you own one you see them all the time.

I have mine for sale because I want a bigger boat to move my fishing operation offshore.

Selling boats is about two things, building the boat and selling the boat. Whatever else you have to say about Alumaweld and North River, their sales operations work well. I'm not sure that Duckworth has had as good a distribution arm.

I bought a 89 16' pro steelheader sled a few years back. this sled is built like a tank, a great boat for the rivers around here and it's bounced off more than one rock or two

solid boat, have no want for another!

cb

I have a 22'8" Pacific Magnum...17 degree hull...I like the deeper hull because it doesn't beat you up as bad when you go out to the CR Buoy...

I hung a 225 HP 4-Stoke Honda on her last spring and she runs like a dream...

Thought about the open sled but the windshield & top sure are nice on those miserable days...There are both pros & cons with the top but more pros IMHO for the type of fishing I like to do...
