New North River ---- pics
well its finally here...
What a rush! I first have to thanks Brian, Gary and especially Jay for putting up with me over the last two months! I know Jay answered 100's of my questions, and every one was with thought, attention to deatail and a level of professionalism that is second to none! Thanks Jay!
Here are the pics..
wasn't the nicest weather but it didn't seem to bother us!
here she is at the ramp on the Umpqua, the river was running pretty heavy today so no major white water .. made grandpa feel a bit better
Yamaha T8 gotta love it!
Rogue river style anchor brackets..
shot of the removeable custom tackle try, sides cut down to 1" and lines with Linx-X.
I don't have to tell you how pleased we are! NR was great to work with and ..... gave us the best price! We got more boat for the buck at NR. Thanks again guys!

Very nice machine. My seahawk is coming in may. What's up with the grab rails on the top. I ordered the same top, but nobody said anything about the rails. Beautiful.

Re: New North River ---- pics
That be sweet!!
I'm glad the experience was great for you, might have gotten just as sweet a boat going "the other way" for an even better price, but you know what you may have had to go through to get it!!! Good choice and smart move!
Hope you get that rod done instead of sitting in that boat in the driveway figuring out what goes where

Looks Great! Love that anchor setup! As another NR owner, you'll find the experience continues to get better. The focus they've put on service in the last couple of years will keep you extremely happy (even after they have your money)!!!!

Nice new boat you got there, TH. I'd say save a spot in it for me, but that'd be a bazillion hour road trip for me. Ugh.

Re: New North River ---- pics
Th handrails on top are just that handrails..
when we are in a hurry to get the anchor thrown, you can jump up on the gunnel and run up and toss the ball.. just make sure you are the one not drinking coffee royals
Parker.. if I can drive up to the OP you can drive down here to the SC.
Lots of fun.... it was hard to go back to work today knowing that was in the driveway!
Boys it's time to catch a SPRINGER!

Re: New North River ---- pics
TH,
I worked for a company who did all the customer service for General Motors. I remember during our product training on GM engines that they really talked the Vortec up in the marine department. I was impressed by the dock side test they ran which consisted of:
300 hours = 12.5 days straight with no shut down period at full throttle.
They ran at full for 55 minutes and would idle for 5 minutes then back up to full.
A 295 HP rating should get you there.
I was impressed.
