Tsunami Advisory!!

An 8.1 earthquake off the Tonga islands has triggered tsunami advisories all along the West Coast, including Washington and Oregon. Just heard about it on NWCN's website. Will post more when I know more.

Now they're saying this:

An 8.1 earthquake off the Tonga islands has triggered tsunami advisories all along the Pacific Basin except Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California.

Looks like we might be out of the loop on this one...which, in this case, is not necessarily a BAD thing :grin:
