Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
Friday and Sunday look a little sporty, so Saturday may change too. Team Odin had dreamed of Thursday (2 and 5) until NOAA updated this morning. We'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next few days, but I'm not going to plan on fishing this weekend.
Just thinking of all the honey-do's I can get done before the real fishing starts....

As always, we will watch the weather. Royalfish, Catch and Eat, Reel Pleasure and myself are planning a run Saturday and Sunday if weather permits . I imagine Tom and Dean will be runnig as well.

If the prediction does not change I will be running as well on Saturday- Along with others played the watch game last week- the ocean call, however is strong!!

Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
I will be going out Saturday and Sunday. If the wind turns around and starts to come in from the N/W should make for better seas. Hope to be crossing the bar at 4:30 to 5:00 It may be cold and a bit wet, but think the wind will calm.
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Don't know if I could wait another week.
Bob

Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
Like the rest of us you are checking the forecast every 6 hours...wait if the forecast is updated every 6 hours why am I looking at every 30 minutes????????

Oh man.... if the addiction is this bad what would rehab be like?

It's a no go for me....my God, I started to tremble when I typed this.

Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
This is the latest from 8:30 this a.m. for Saturday!
Northwest wind 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft. West swell 9 ft. Chance of rain in the morning...then slight chance of showers in the afternoon.
Still a little bumbs but maybe doable-depends on the seconds!

Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
I need a BIGGER boat! 2&8=2much. Might as well put a mechanical bull at the dock and save the fuel. Maybe next weekend.

Re: CR Halibut Saturday ?
I've only checked the forecast 3 times this morning and it
usually updates around 3 PM. I will make my call than, but right now I am with Bob and saving my gas $$'s for another day.
Looks down right pleasant tying hooks, watching TV, catchin up on honey-do's. Ocean looks like a great place not to be.
Unfortunately, I am land locked the next couple of weekends as there is that four letter word haunting me again.
Only 5 weeks till Sitka Wahoo!!
