Default .22 Cal "Butler Creek" Speed Loader?

I am considering buying a Butler Creek Speed Loader for my Ruger 10/22 but have no experience with them at all. I have two questions.

1) Do they work well?

2) Are the instructions easy to understand?

If anyone has any info or comments, I would certainly appreciate a reply.

Thanks,

Rusty

I have 2 of them, and would be impossible to load all the clips I have with out one.
Before the ban on clips, I picked up around 40 Butler Creek clips.
I have it down to loading a 25 shot clip takes about 40/45 seconds. I have put near 10,000 rounds thru my original loader. Very easy to use!

They are a great timesaver and they work reasonably well.

If you took mine away, I'd sell my gun. It's a huge time and thumb saver. BH

My only problem is getting it back from my sons-in-law who use it on their sage rat hunting trips. One just got back from a trip where he and his buddies put about 16000 rounds through their Ruger 10/22's. Who know how many squirrels were actually endangered in the process?

I was skeptical of them, but decided to give one a try. Now I wonder why I waited so long to get one! I would definitely recommend them if you do much volume shooting. We only shoot a few hundred rounds at a time, and they are worth the $25 or so.
