That is a non-denominational bonker! Either side seems to work quite well. Crew was a bit on the new side and was just warming up to the bonker. Hope to put sometthing of size in the boat on the opener of the US side. I really hate to be there then but Shrimping is next week and the week after will be my next trip up there. So I will fight with the crowds!

Nice Dave,
I'll be at La Push on the second week of the opener. You going out of Neah again? I think our plan is to fish Thurs. U.S., Fri. Canadian, and Sat. U.S. again. Weekend of the 18th. What's your plan?

Will be in Neah Bay on the openner. Hate to do it but it is just how things work out. Will need another salt fix just about that time. So if you get to La Push and see the "Top Notch" tell the captain hello for me.

The sealions were there. We did not ask for them to be there. In fact I wish they had not been there. They would come up and rest on the prop waiting for the next carcuss to be thrown in. As you can see in the video, they were very agressive. We were ready to repel "raiders" if they had tried to come on board to get an early snack!

Great video! I was looking at those plastic hammers at harbor freight. Now I guess I have a good reason to buy one. Halibonker!!

May see you on the water next week.
