Default The resident ifish ghost

I KID YOU NOT!!!

There IS one!

OK, so I don't believe in ghosts, but I don't know how else to explain what happens, sometimes!

For a while, we had pictures disappearing. Then, whole posts... Then, just today, I posted to one post, and it posted to another whole thread... that was locked! It was a locked thread! Go look! You can't post to locked threads! Now, ladies and gentlemen, I can post to locked threads as an admin, but ONLY after I open them... just like you!

So, how did my post where I was teasing Crabbait, get on the main board, in the life jacket thread? YOU TELL ME THAT!!!! That is hilarious!

There is something whacky going on, here!!!!

Have you had anything mysterious happen at ifish?
OK. Maybe I don't want to fully know the answer to that!!!

:lurk:

I'm hiding under the covers, tonight!
Jen

Ummmm....I've been wondering if there was somthing awry. I opened some older PMs to find that they were.....blank. I know not what happened to the content. So I just deleted them. In essence, I deleted nothing.

Other than that, everything looks good, Jen!

You guys... I guess I'll let you know.
I'm having a ghost cleansing, soon.
We are going to upgrade to a different kind of discussion board software.
It's very robust and does all kinds of neat things, and has NO GHOST!!!

Anyhow, I'm just so tired of trying to "fix" this software. This other comes pre fixed. No hacks. No builds. Just solid software at a good price.

I can't wait, but there will be an adjustment period. I'm so sorry for that, but you WILL have to learn. But, you won't have to start over, or anything. Everything is totally importable and we won't lose a thing.

Just get ready. It's coming, this summer or Fall!

It's called... "person to person".

We all just go out fishing and yell across the river at each other.
It works GREAT!

I've seen that in action before and it wasn't a very pretty sight.

I had a pm disappear today. No reason just gone. However I had read it. It was about the same thread you are talking about. I was being asked and accused of having the thread taken down.

When I went to reply to the sender it was gone.

I have had ifish lock up a couple times on me in the last two days but that might be my computer. I don't know.

I think your ghost has moved into my tackle bag. I can't get a springer bite to save my soul.
Take the darn ghost back, will you?

It was the one where I was giving away that million dollars and a Ferrari in a Ready Set contest.

Oh well...
