Bear Hunt in the Imnaha unit questions???

I drew a tag for the Mimam-Imnaha unit for Spring Bear. I have not ever bear hunted before. I figured I would wait until mid May for the snow to melt a little. Does any one else have this tag, or have any advice that your willing to share? I am the only one in my party that drew so I will be hunting solo right now.

Been hunting one day in the minam unit. There is some sign just didn't spot any bears. Snow needs to melt some more to get into the minam up higher. I think we are going to try the Imnaha later and see what we find. This is my first year hunting this unit so I don't have much info to pass on to you. Good luck !
