Someone took our Dog
Sunday night at 8pm someone decided that they really wanted our Yellow lab Puppy. The Back gate was opened and the pup was gone, Our other dog was just looking out the fence trying to fiqure out where her child went. So if you here of anyone selling a 5 month old yellow lab please let me know. She is chipped but my guess is that the low life that would steal a dog probably won't ever take it to see a vet. This pup was very loved by my entire family and we really want her back. We live in west Vancouver but she could be anywhere. Thanks for any help. 360-693-5197

Wow really sorry to hear about your pup missing. I hope some one returns her to you.
The pup I got from you bolted out the gate on us this past weekend and took off down the street. My heart sank as I watched helplessly as it ran into the street, I feel very fortunate that I was able to get that little guy back unharmed.
I feel for you, best wishes for her safe return.

That is horrible. I don't see how anybody could steal a puppy. There are some really sick people out there. I hope you find your pup!

Have you notified the chip registry maintained for that manufacturers chip? Report her as stolen.
File a police report.
Send an alert to the surrounding county animal controls (Clark, Mult, Clack, Wash) and humane societies (SE Wash/Vanc, Washougal, Ore. Humane Soc.) Include pics if available.
Put up posters in your neighborhood, and go door-to-door to see if you can come up with any clues.

I know your pain. I had a 5 month Golden taken out of my truck two years ago. It's so sad and maddening at the same time. I hope you get your pup back!

Be sure to put up the info in your neighborhood as suggested. I once had someone pick up a lab pup of mine that got out of kennel that she thought belonged to a friend of hers that lived near me. She was holding it for her friend until she returned home from a business trip. Five days later her friend returned home and told her that her pup was safe at home. They found us by the posters we had up. I feel for you and hope you have a good ending like we did.
