nehalem

Fished the Nehalem this afternoon. Lots of fish around but no biters. I was using T-bait eggs and shrimp scent. Fished them under a bobber about 8 feet. Any tips on what I am doing wrong? Might go back tomorrow, not sure yet.

Aqua, by reading your post the thing that stands out as a possible thing you might have done wrong was not trying a variety of others methods. Floatfishing eggs/shrimp is the first option. Try using pink prawns or raw jumbo prawn tails. Use some scent enhancers on them. Then try casting some spinners. Try casting or trolling K-15 Kwikfish thru them. Lots of other things to try too. They may still not bite, but they just might turn on to the other things. Don't fish lazy with only one or 2 things, unless they are working. - RT

Aqua-Were you fishing a shrimptail with youre eggs? Just an idea,I always use a combo and do pretty well.I agree with RT also ,carry a variety of things.I am taking a couple of guys tomorrow so look for my blue 99 ford and I might show you a secret or two-FM
