Default Untimely passing

You might want to take a moment today to think about Jim Hill whose funeral is at 2:30 in Seaside. Jim for the past two decades was the director of the CEDC fisheries program. CEDC produces fish for the select fishery program in Youngs Bay and other places. Tag returns show that these fish contribte significantly to the Buoy 10 fishery. He was a voice for the wise use of our fishery resource and an educator of our youth. Jim's untimely passing is being mourned by many in the north coast fishing community, sport and commercial. He will be missed.

Myself and my kids grew up with the hill's through school. He had an energy for the future of fishing, and made a big contribution to the commercial and sport fishing for the lower Columbia. My thoughts are with his children and family. Jim will be greatly missed.
