Default Crabs

The wife wants to go crabbing this weekend. Where should I take her: Nehalem or Tillamook? Any particular spot in Tillamook better than others?

Default Re: Crabs

We fished T bay for the last 3 weekends and took limits of hard crabs. But, the rain changes everything. The more it rains, the harder it is to get decent crab in shallow water.

If the bay has cleared up since the last weekend, try T bay. The west channel has been harder to find with the pilings gone but it produces.

We often fish Netarts in rain time. It has no tribs and stays salty.

Also try at night. No competition, better crabbing.

The bend is your friend!
