Default Fish brine

Question does anyone know of a fish brine that uses all dry ingredients it was in the fishing & hunting news a few years back ( I know that was a long time ago ) but maybe some knows the guide that uses it or has the recipe.

Thanks for any help I get.

Jeff

Default Re: Fish brine

A quick one that I use is 2 parts brown sugar to 1 part non iodized salt. dredge fish in mixture and place on rack over sink for 1 hour. then rinse and sprinkle with lemon pepper and smoke. about an hour before removing from smoker, heat some honey and brush on fish. Easy and produces great results.
