Not sure what model I have but it is a nice gun for a wheel gun. If you want to shoot it sometime I could meet you at the gun club we shoot at.
You bring the ammo

Trap, if you move your post to the hunting board you might get better responce. The only wheel guns I have are smiths and colts, I have a hunting buddy who has a Taurus, he likes it, not sure of the model, but it is in 357.

Re: Input on Taurus 357
Did you mean "Tracker"?
I have the 4 inch 627SS Tracker and it has been 100% reliable, feels good in the hand, adjustable sights (with easy to pick out orange ramp), accurate, and it has an above average "out of the box" trigger. 38's feel like .22's, and .357's like .38's, because of the grip and porting. I also own a couple other Taurus products and they have equally reliable and are backed by a lifetime warranty.
However, I would pass on the Titanium version. There have been some issues with the cylinder binding up when heated from rapid firing. Also the Titanium finish requires some extra care in cleaning.
You won't have any regrets, with the Tracker, in the stainless version.

I just bought one and I think for the money you can't go wrong. You get a double action gun that not only works great but looks great. It's a solid gun that isn't high end but shoots like a high end gun.

Re: Input on Taurus 357
For decades Taurus business was selling a quality knockoff of S&W revolvers ( the best IMHO ). Taurus revolvers are solid and dependable. I have a .38 that has had a lot of rounds through it with no problems. I still prefer my S&W's, but for the money Taurus is still a good value.

I do not own one now but i have had several in the past. In my opinion, the Taurus have better fit and finish than the S&W. The last one I owned was the model 67 with 7 shot cylinder and ported 1-1/2" barrel. Double action only and no hammer spur made it great for concealed carry because it fits well in pants pocket but it was very unpleasant to shoot mostly because of the short barrel.
They are a great gun at a good price.

I disagree. Taurus products are every bit the equals of our U.S.-made firearms. They are guaranteed for life, and their service is the standard of the industry.
The 2005 NRA Golden Bullseye Handgun of the Year award went to the Taurus PT24/7. The 2003 NRA Golden Bullseye Award went to the 480 Raging Bull. Numerous other achievements of excellence have been awarded to Taurus. Their metallurgy is second to none, especially their scandium and titanium-based products.
Taurus is a bit like Honda. They started with good, if somewhat understated, products modeled on better U.S. goods. They have evolved into the gold standard of their industry.

I'm happy with mine.

Re: Input on Taurus 357
I guess I was misunderstood. By high end I mean in price. They don't cost as much as S&W, Beretta, etc. you get alot of bang for your buck.
