Unless we are dialed into a sure producer, the "Decision" is often a stressful grind even for us fishing veterans Evan. Watch our BB, The Guides Forecast website reports, the Thur. Oregonian sportpage's fishing reports, and call local tackle shops (you will soon enough find out which ones give honest reports and which ones not to give your business to), to get a good idea for a place to go. As for this Sunday there should be a good pickup in fishing success almost everywhere for fall salmon in the rivers due to the rain and colder nights. A couple quick ideas for bankfishing would be the metro area's Clackamas R. and Sandy R. for cohos and Tillamook's lower Trask R. for big 'Nooks. Check down into the "No Boat Coast" post thread on this BB for my directions to good lower Trask bank spots. Using egg clusters, sandshrimp, &/or spinners are a good choice to try. Good luck. - RT
