Default Buying AR-15 parts at the Gun Show

I've decided to build my own AR-15 and I wondering if it's a good idea to buy any parts at the Gun Show in Portland next weekend. Do you guys have any suggestions as to whether that's a good idea or not?

My concern is that the vendors may be dealing with factory seconds or poor quality parts. Would it be a better idea to get the parts from more reputable places like BM, RRA, J&T, M&A, ADCO, Brownells, etc.?

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't be too worried about the quality. However, you will most likely pay more at the gun show. I've always been able to find better deals surfing.
