Default Return to Frenchman's Bar, Part IV

Me and my crew put the world on 'hold' this afternoon and skeedaddled out to FrenchmansBar.

Unfortunately, a freighter was anchored in our favorite spot. Our horn blasts didn't persuade them to move out of the 'fishing channel'.

Anyway, we fished through the bottom half of the outgoing tide and had no bites on the ALvins on our three lines.

We did see one of the other four boats land a 'nook.

Its certainly slowing but its not over yet.

We may give it another go this weekend, (I wonder if I can have that freighter towed??)

I really don't think it has slowed as much as we think......from what i have heard the nets are in and will be here and there for a while...I am going out of chinook landing tomorrow and will give a report when i get in......well after i clean my fish, I am still having flashbacks of hard takedowns.....i can't wait till tomorrow!
