Default Another good 25% off sale at Forest Bay

They will have 25% off of everything in stock, including off of sale priced items. Worth checking out in the above whatyacallit (the rectangle reader board ads). I wish I needed something. If I look maybe I will "need" it? - RT

"Need" and "Want" are the same in my book

One has 3 consonants and 1 vowel the other is 2 vowels and 2 consonants.

One starts with a N the other with a W

Now, lets go see what I need

Well, I did my shopping a little while ago and found some great deals! I ordered what I needed (ok, wanted), a Garmin GPS 12 Personal Navigator. Got it so I can find my way to our PC and bathrooms w/o having to turn the lights on at night . It normally cost $149, but with the 25% off of that and S&H I got it for $121. Some great deals on rods! The Lamiglass Pro Series salmon/steelhead rods are only around $80! (reg. $109 at FB). The Lami G1000 Series around $68 (reg. $91 to $98)). And the nice Berkley Buzz Ramsey IM7's are around $38!! (reg. $49 - at stores they are $79)! The excellant Shimano Symetry spinning reels are around $49 (reg. $69, and $80+ at stores). I noticed some very interesting looking rubber jigs that look steelhead killer, called Beetle Spin by Johnson Co., for around a dollar each. Could spend too much time on there so I stopped myself. Really good deals though (if you need it, not want it ). - RT

Yes. My late model customised Camaro SS (a step up from the Z-28) is on sale right now for 25% off, due to the fall weather less interest in performance cars right now. It has 34,600 miles on it, all records, glass T-top, AT, and is in great condition. At $16,950, less 25%, it is on sale for $12,712.50. A bargain!!! And I'm serious. - RT

You mentioned in your post above that the Berkely IM7's are around $38. This sounded like a real bargain to me (could get about 6 of these or one Gloomis ). When I tried to order I cannot get the price to show the $38 +/-. It shows at $48.79 with $0.99 UPS ground shipping. UPS doesnt do anything for $0.99 which got me started. It would also not tell me if that was with or without the 25% discount. Hence I called customer service and got an idiot who could not tell me the time of day (first day on the job I believe). Then I got refered to the supervisor (Carisa) who told me the $48.79 was the sale price and included the 25% off. Total price with shipping is $49.78.

Did you get yours at about $38 and the customer service reps have no idea what they are talking about? How long does this sale last?

My mistake Roy. Sorry. I thought the $48 was before the 25% off, not after. But hey, those are very good rods and are a good deal for the retail $80. At almost half that it's a knockout bargain! I have a couple of them and they are definitely really good rods. They have the right taper and actions and have the IM7 sensativity. And F.M.S. told me they get less of those back broken than the spendier GLoomis' and Lami's. Don't know how they can pull it off for the price, but they do. Country wide volume and far less spent on advertising I would guess. The .99 cents S&H must be correct, that's what I was charged for it when I recieved my Garmin GPS 12 from them. ... I think I better go take a look at my rod inventory again. - RT
