Default siwash hooks for spoons

He ya'll, I'm retooling all my steelhead gear with single hooks. Does anybody out there have a recomedation on which direction to set the hook up on a spoon. In other words, hook pointed up towards back of spoon, or hook pointed down towards belly of spoon, or does it really make a difference? Many thanks.

Hook point goes towards the back of the spoon. Makes a difference
