crabs at barview

Friday fishing not so good, so crabbed instead.It was the best crabbing I've done in 10 years. My partner and I got 24 crabs in three hours, one was 8 inches across. To bad about the loss of the boat on the south jetty,you can't be to careful out there.

Thanks for the report Reece. If we had it to do over again I think we might have rather gone the crabing route too. You really have to "work" the pots to have the best success. Hard to do when trying to fish for salmon. - RT
