Default Fishing Partner list?

Any interest out there to form a list of people looking for someone to fish with during the week?

I am retired and occassionally would like to fish with different partners.

Any one else on the board interested.

I am in the Van. area and have both OR and Wa licenses.

If interested give me a call or leave a message on the board.

I have met RT, Mike T , ZaQ and Bill H. this way so far. Had great trips with each. Great way to make new friends.

Giz is a great guy...I have fished with him twice and had a great time both times. Wish I was retarded.....no I am already retarded.....I meant retired and could make more time to fish with him.
He is a great fisherman and I have learned a lot when I fished with him.

Gizmo... I'm in school, but would love to take a day or two off to go fishing. I don't know much about Salmon fishing, but would love for someone to show me the ropes! I mostly flyfish for steelhead this time of year, but I kinda want to try to hook into a few Salmon! Anyhoo, if you ever feel like showing a youngster like me the ropes, just let me know, you sound like a real nice guy!

Evan: It would be my pleasure to fish with you. I also fly fish so we can do a double header. As we move into fall and it rains the steelhead should move to the fly. Drop me an email when you have a non school day. i do not want to see you to miss any school as there will be many days to fish.

Hey Giz,
I live in Vanc. and try to go fishing at least once a week and my days off are Thurs and Fri. I'm on restriction right now because my wife is nearing baby time. my cell phone doesnt reach the N.F. Lewis so I'm out of luck until then. and the Kalama is a bit further than I'm comforatble with right now. but gimme a week or 2 and I can go just about anywhere. Cant wait for those winter steelies on the Kalama and the Lewis.
I've never fished the E.F Lewis and that sounds intriguing. I am usually a bankie on the Cedar Creek hatchery side of the river and do pretty well.
send me an Email and I'll get back to ya

HI everyone: overwhelmed with response. My work schedule goes like this:

I don't work on M-W-F's .

I take T and Th's off.

On S and S's I sleep or fish.

I can fish any time that I'm not working.

The original reason for the post was to put together a buddie list of sorts --To provide a list of guys/gals who want to fish with others.

So if others are looking for partners, join in the search for new friends in your area. If this grows than maybe we can get a section to match up schedules of those looking for partners or meet on the Wed nite chats.

For those in the Van/Portland area looking for a partner on short notice, let me know. Drop me a line and let's hook up.

Giz...

Well this is my fourth child and having a wife that is very understanding helps tons but now that we are home from the hospital she will be out of work for a while. Before that her work schedule interfered with the fishing schedule so I only really had one day per week to fish. now no worky means my fishing day can be just about any day I want...
