Is that drawing still open? I can't find it on the WDFW website.

No, I think the deadline was April 9th. I applied for both, but I'm hoping I don't draw either of them. Don't have the extra $160 this year.

For me it is worth it because i will be in school for the early ML season. Deer is not worth it to me, i do not even care if i shoot one...

I put in for everything they will let me. I think $160 is worth it to not have to choose a weapon.

Q. How does the multiple-season permit affect the deer and elk special permits?

A. If you draw a multiple season permit for deer or elk, then you may apply for all weapon types on your deer or elk special permit application (up to four hunt choices). You would also be able to apply for both eastern and western Washington for elk.

TonTo's quote is reason enough for me to make it worth it! The last two years I bought an eastside archery elk and if I don't draw a big bull tag I don't elk hunt Washington, I'd go Idaho archery elk. If I do draw the multi and don't draw an eastside archery big bull I can archery westside. SWEEEET! I didn't do deer, not that important to me.

I put in for the elk permit, but not deer. The price is a lot, but well worth it for as much as I love hunt elk. I don't think I'd pay $160 for too many deer in WA.
