I found it! My Ledger!!!!

It's hilarious, really.
I just have to laugh.
I have been searching for DAYS for this ledger.
It contains a copy of everything month by month. Every Kwikfish I sold, all the check numbers, any donated prizes, any bartered items, each expense, each sale....

ARGH. For three months! Luckily, I hadn't done April yet, or even finished March!

Anyhow... There it is! I finally found it in the burn barrel!

I keep my trash can to the side of my file cabinet. I lost a bill once, as I'm likely to store my bills on top of the file cabinet... you know, right where I put my ledger, notebook, etc.

I swore I would move my trash can! I didn't!!!

ACK!

So, there it is! At least I can stop looking for it now! It's all re creatable except for check numbers, and I think I may have those, too... but it's just a darn real hassle. It was all so neatly laid out. :depressed:

I am the only person I know who keeps a computerized copy on quick books, and handwritten copies! Thank GOD that I do!
I know what my next week is going to look like! At least it isn't further into the year. It's only three months of rework, RIGHT? :smile:

I wish I were a less paranoid book keeper, but I'm not. I want my accountant to know exactly where every penny is. Talk about Obsessive Compulsive!

That would be divine intervention speaking. It's time to use computers for that stuff. :smile: Easier to back up electronic data than it is paper data.

I do. I keep two copies. I just prefer having a written copy, also.
I do this because once upon a time my comp crashed and I didn't have a good enough backup copy. :smile:

I can take all of the info off the comp, but it's going to take a while! Lucky that it's only three months.
I could print it out, but it's not in the format that my accountant likes it and it has things on it that can't be computerized... like when I go to shows and ifish events, and it's not good to carry a comp around!
I like my way of doing things... except when I burn them. LOL
